Removing Frame and repositioning navit screen with navit.xml

Description

Could be very useful to have ability to remove frame and re-position the window from navit.xml on Winods, as it allows other displays on the screen at the same time.

Many Thanks

Could you clarify what you mean by "remove frame" and "re-position window"?

Do you want to open a window without the usual window border, and set its initial position?

comment:2 follow-up: Changed 5 years ago by bruno brods

Yes that is exactly what I mean, is it possible to just set the size, a corner coordinate and open so that it does not have, in my case blue, frame around it. Also as I have made some changes to code would it be possible to know what files were changed, as it would be easier to update my version.

Many Thanks

Bruno

Replying to bruno brods:

The window size (width and height) can already be set in navit.xml like this (use the appropriate graphics type):

<graphics type="gtk_drawing_area" w="800" h="600"/>

Setting the position and removing the window border is not yet possible. I cannot chang that, as I do not develop on Windows, but someone else may.

Also as I have made some changes to code would it be possible to know what files were changed, as it would be easier to update my version.

Any change will be available from our SVN repository, where you can see each individual change.

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

Since r5778 you may use <graphics type="win32" x="100" y="200" frame="0"> to set window coordinates and turn off the frame.
