Description

Hello all together,

this ticket is placed here for discussion.

Currently all generated apk's get the same version code. This could give a serious problem because every apk needs a own code. This problem is even more important if we would build and push more architecture specific builds to Google play.

As well as this issue we have to discuss if we want to serve the apk as a arch specific apk or as a universal apk. This site explains about this topic: https://androidbycode.wordpress.com/2015/06/30/android-ndk-version-code-scheme-for-publishing-apks-per-architecture/

In my opinion we should build arch specific apk's because we target even very old devices which have not really much space free on the internal storage which causes problems while installing when having big apk's.

So my conclusion would be that we need to modify the versioncode schema to have multi arch version codes.
