route -> destination screen

Description
route -> destination screen is too narrow (input boxes are narrow) for proper usability on H2210. Maybe the tomtom approach is better (less info on screen, better usable, readable). Select city first, then new screen with street selection, new screen number/crossing selection, then OK or back etc.

Notice that all the input boxes are on screen, very narrow and not giving room. Also notice the different virtual keyboard (different from the system one?). You have to scroll to the right to even read the streetname, as on the image. So it is not very userfriendly nor efficient w/ screen space at this stage.

Hum, how about using the internal gui on that device? I guess the GTK gui isn't meant for mobile devices, thus it would make no sense to optimize the GUI for small screens - my 2 cent.

I am using the internal GUI (now). What icons should I tap in what order to see a difference?

Hum, you can enter the destination screen by first just tapping the screen (to bring the menu up) then tap the icon looking like a joystick ("Aktionen" in german), then the icon looking like a map with a street (not the globe...). It should then look somewhat similar to this:

Please let us know if that is useable for you, so that we can close this ticket.

In the Actions menu I see four icons with the version I have. Not more like I had in an older version (see http://wiki.navit-project.org/index.php/Image:Screenshot-3.png ) where stuff didn't fit nicely. A config issue?
I only see: Bookmarks globe with pos Town Quit
Is this a bug?

With some help I got the browsing of the streets/towns going! (export LANG=nl_NL for netherlands)
So that works. Still have to see how it all results in routing but that was not the main part for this report.
