Description
Hello,
Here is a patch to fix endianness issues on big-endian architectures.
Please someone with a big-endian box test it, preferably with MG maps.
Thanks.

No, unfortunately I don't have such a box. I think testing on a Sparc box with MG maps would suffice.
Thanks.

- Milestone set to want patch / contribution
I will postpone the patch as 'want contribution' until we can test it. It looks fine and harmless, but i'd better have someone to test it, and report that it works. Thanks for the patch anyway, let me know if you find a Sparc box :)

Ack.
I've found an unused Sun Blade 1000 at work. I still have to find a way to install Debian onto it (no CD drive yet). It may be a matter of a couple of weeks.
Thanks.

Both good new and bad news :/
The good news is I now have a functional Sun station with Debian to test Navit on.
The bad news is the current patch is far too naive. It'll have to be much more invasive. Still working on it though.

Applied to svn r2418
Pini, have you tested it on a big endian box?
