#429 new defect/bug
Cursor Attribute/Cursor Button in GTK Have No Effect
Reported by: | kc7mod | Owned by: | cp15 |
---|---|---|---|
Priority: | minor | Milestone: | version 0.5.2 |
Component: | gui/gtk | Version: | git master |
Severity: | Keywords: | cursor, gtk | |
Cc: |
Description
When using the GTK GUI, pressing the cursor button produces the following error:
gui_gtk:cursor_action:Failed to set attr_cursor
Toggling the cursor button has no effect: the cursor is always being tracked.
Furthermore, including the following attribute in the "navit" section of navit.xml also has no effect:
<navit cursor="0" ...>
The inability to disable following the cursor makes it impossible to look at other areas of the map without first terminating gpsd; else, the map keeps jumping back to the current location.

This ticket was pushed back in order to bring 0.5.1 out soon.
Can anybody check if this is still a bug?
As GTK GUI isn't much in our focus, I set it to a minor issue and assign it to the next hotfix.
