Error reading large bin-File

Description
I have a problem with the latest planet.bin: As soon as I use the file, that is slightly larger than 4GB I get the error: map_binfile:map_binfile_open:invalid file format for '/media/card/nvmaps/planet.bin'
Is this due to a faulty upload to maps.navit-project.org or is navit not able to handle file larger than 4GB?

Hi elhennig,
What format is your card? FAT32? FAT32 can only use circa 4GB for each file - which may explain the problem.
Can you please try a smaller extract of from http://maps.navit-project.org/download/ and see if this resolves the problem - it usually does.
Regards,
Nick

- Milestone set to version 0.2.0
Since it's a freerunner, i'd bet the memory card is formatted as ext3.
elhennig, please try using a recent navit build, and a planet.bin from navit's map server.
