Hi,

you can define the whole osd-layout in navit.xml. Please read the wiki about it.

http://wiki.navit-project.org/index.php/OSD

I will close this bug for now.

Bye Henning

I know this OSD wiki page but I did not find a switch "disable keyboard icon" there, did you? This icon is in the foreground and therefore hides any Navit OSD item on the same position.

This problem also affects other WinCE devices.

When an application is switched, or the device goes into power saving mode, the WinCE software keyboard icon is displayed - even in full screen mode.

Hi,

I looked at it again. Main problem is the stupid wince-api has no functions build in to detect if the app is fullscreen or not. There are 2 solutions one over a own boolean and over compare the window size with the max windowsize. If you have this you can use the function to disable the softkeyboard window/icon. Maybee I will post here in few days so someone with a ce device can test it.

Bye Henning

Patch not working, sip button is still visible after changing back to navit if it has been enabled by another app inbetween.
