Description

I have a mexican map from Planet Extractor as a 2nd active map, see bbox attached. Within Navit town selection I can select Cancun, Tizimin, and San Miguel de Cozumel. Tulum is not showing up in the town list though it is present!

My system:

  • Current navit version: 0.5.0 from Dec 31st
  • Compiler: arm-mingw32ce-gcc (GCC) 4.4.0 with recent cygwin on WinXP
  • Device 1 is an HTC HD2 running Windows Mobile 6.5 with 800x480 display

Not everything shows up under "Towns". This is because your example town does not have an is_in tag for the OSM data.

See: http://wiki.navit-project.org/index.php/OpenStreetMap#Search_is_totally_b0rkz0r3d.21_Or.2C_behaves_very_strangely_vs_other_navigation_software.

This is a well known issue, that could have easily been solved within 2 minutes on IRC. Why don't you pop along to #navit on irc.freenode.net or via http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=navit
