Assertion in route.c (street_get_data)

Sometimes when trying set my position on the map (from popup menu Point/Set? As Position) I get an assertion "count < 1000". The problem can be resolved by increasing the maximum number of coords, but is that really a good solution?

I get this error. Navit crashes though. I have the map planet-080116.bin installed.

In the brief time Navit runs It does not show any map data on the screen. navit.xml set to Australia : <navit center="27 S 152 E" zoom="8192" >

ERROR : file route.c: line 1146 (street_get_data): assertion failed: (count < 1000) aborting... Aborted

If i stop gpsd and start navit, I get the following, with the Navit gui having a blank screen.

Apparently, this issue has been fixed in cvs. Could you please confirm? Thanks.
