Garmin maps not displaying all data

Garmin maps is not displayed correctly. The major roads are displayed - but minor roads and details are not included.

This is what I did:

1. Installed MapSource? in Windows and unlocked the map. (The installation path was my USB harddrive)

2. Booted into Linux copyed the maps from my USB harddrive to my home directory.

3. Configured navit.xml to use my Garim map - with absolute path to "CNEuroNT_v9.img"

Hi,

Several points:

1. The NT format of the maps is not supported yet, not much is known about it.
2. Unlocking the map in mapsource doesn't unlock it in the way it can be used from other software. Locked maps are not supported for obvious reasons.
3. What you see is probably the base map which is not locked.

You can try with MetroGuide?(non-NT version) which is not locked or some of the free maps that can be found on the net.
