Description
I would like to be able to move the map to a specified point, either by entering a latitude & longitude (ideally allowing either degree/minute/second or decimal format), or by selecting a bookmark.
I would find this useful as an alternative to searching - I often have bookmarks for places close to where I want to be, and it's quicker/easier to go to the bookmark location then find the place I want on the map.

Hi,
We've had a ticket into the Debian BTS too for that 'input coordinate' feature. => http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=534767
Thanks in advance for implementing it.

- Resolution set to duplicate
- Status changed from new to closed
There's a separate bug for entering coordinates directly: #951. Therefore I am closing this as a duplicate.
If you have the bookmark, you can use the bookmark menu, and 'View on map'.
I keep the ticket open for the 'input coordinates' request, which can indeed be useful.
