Description
when i launch navit i get this error: root@om-gta02 ~ $ DISPLAY=:0 navit gui_internal:gui_internal_new:register navit:plugin_load:can't load '/usr/lib/navit/vehicle/libvehicle_gpsd.so', Error 'libgps.so.16: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory' navit:vehicle_new:invalid type 'gpsd' navit:main:Using '/usr/share/navit/navit.xml' gui_internal:gui_internal_resize:w=480 h=586 children=(nil)
i don't have libgps; shouldn't it be added as a dependency?

Unfortunately we can't build a package for shr, and another for om, and another for X. This is rather a distro-related issue than a bug in navit.
manually installing libgps17 (16 is not available on my distro: shr-unstable) and doing ln -s /usr/lib/libgps.so.17 /usr/lib/libgps.so.16 let's it start and detect my position
