Description
I'm using Navit on an Android phone, and every time I drag the map around, I inevitably end up in the menu. This is highly frustrating, as the Android has a dedicated Menu key.

On WinCE, this feature is quite handy as it eliminates the need for a menu button on the screen (there is no hardware menu button) - more map space, and the map becomes a huge "menu" button that's almost impossible to miss even when operating a QVGA display with your bare finger.
But... some may use their PDA or smartphone without a charger, causing the screen to go dark after some time of inactivity. To wake it up again, you have to tap it... and end up in the menu.
Conclusion: the decision between "handy feature" and "nuisance" depends on the type of device and its usage. How about making this behavior configurable, e.g. by introducing <gui type="internal" tap_menu="no"/>?

Please see #505 for a solution.
The same applies to the n8xx. In fact the on the n8xx, the square button does start the menu (as well as the tapping) when there is a dedicated menu button.
Cheers,
